Trying my hand at scrapbooking

I love making mini albums, cards and mixed media but I thought I'd have a go at scrapbooking.  I have been searching Pinterest and other websites looking for a style that I liked. I have long been a fan of Di Garling's work, a designer for 49 and Market, and thought her layouts would suit the photos I had chosen to work with.  

I used Prima papers then using modeling paste stenciled on to the paper then did a bit of stamping, added 49 and Market flowers, cut out a couple of frame dies, added some flourishes cut out of Rose Gold foil, then some leaves. 

Just so you know, I pretty much copied Di's version but it gave me some idea of what I wanted to do for the next layout I did.
